Our work with legislation
The Ministry often advises our Minister and other departments on policy issues related to legislation. We provide technical input from our own in-house expertise or draw on external assistance from relevant people working in the field.
We work to ensure that the legislation is technically accurate with respect to definitions. We also help make sure that new or future developments in technologies are factored into the wording of the legislation, thus helping to 'future-proof' the legislation.
