Biotechnologies to 2025
This report is an overview of global trends in biotechnology. It focuses on developments in biotechnology for health, primary production, industrial, environmental and defence applications. These are presented with reference to their surrounding social and business context.
The report has been prepared primarily for New Zealand government agencies – to help paint the big picture about how biotechnology may impact on our society in the future. It is intended to help provide early warning of upcoming developments and to stimulate thinking and discussion about the ‘so what’ for New Zealand questions.
